This is a new mall of SM under construction. And everyone is right, Novaliches area passing thru Quirino Highway will be congested once this shoppng mall is completed. I hope SM will made Public Utility Vehicle Terminal right inside this mall similar with SM North Edsa. Otherwise, you bet what I am thinking. =) TRAFFIC JAMS!!!
  • National Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes, aSkal (guest) wrote 16 years ago:
Used to be where my family would go to hear mass when we lived (relatively) nearby...UST was nearer, but my mom was a devotee so we would hear mass here. And I agree that the homilies are also rather good.

Timmy's Place. Finding this place for me is tricky though (granted, I have a poor sense of direction, if any)

Used to be the old Family Savings Bank, ages ago, where my first ever bank account was made (a kiddie savers account thing...)
  • New Longlife Bakery, aSkal (guest) wrote 16 years ago:
The name is quite apt. It has been there since as long as I can remember. It has even outlasted the Swan Bakery which used to be just across the street. Passing by this bakery after going to mass at the nearby Lourdes Church used to be something I would enjoy as a little kid, because the breads, cakes and pastries were so delicious-looking...*sighs*

  • Lawn / Open Field, aSkal (guest) wrote 16 years ago:
Where we had our star-gazing activity. This is also where our "Tiyakad" practical test for PE was done...quite a hard test because the lawn was muddy and rather moist because of the rain from the night before. Also where the sportsfests are usually held.
  • Meditation Garden, aSkal (guest) wrote 16 years ago:
Does the "Man"-go tree still exist? Anyway, this is where we did the flower-arrangement project...I ended up purchasing the flowers and the gardener's foam...none of the group members paid me back though...But the project was at least passable

Where I waited for the school nurse to give me the all-clear during my conjunctivitis period...they didn't give me the all-clear. I had to wait at home for two more weeks until I could return to class...oh well
  • High School Faculty Room, aSkal (guest) wrote 16 years ago:
Where I begged and pleaded with many teachers to let me pass my subjects...I used to be quite a slacker back in the day. Thankfully I managed to straighten out so it's not the case now.
